    Create an account and sign up online before coming to the studio. This is to ensure that you’ve signed the liability waiver and read our Terms & Conditions.

    Alternatively, you can also sign up for class, click our “Classes “ page and find all the classes and workshops in our two locations

  • To fully enjoy your pole experience, please wear athletic pole/yoga shorts that are tight fitting and sufficiently cover private areas. We also sell some attire in the studio lobby, if you forget yours.

    Please also avoid applying lotions & heavily scented perfumes.

  • We understand that timing is sometimes out of our control. If you can make it to your class within 10 minutes of its start time, you’re welcome to still join class. However, if you’re going to be later than that, then we ask that for your safety and courtesy of the class, you sit this one out (it will be marked as canceled and cannot be redeemed for future class credit). Sorry, but the warm up is a crucial part of pole class and missing it could lead to injury.

  • Students are allowed to cancel a reserved class up to 12 hours before class start time with no penalty. Any class canceled less than 12 hours before class will be considered a late cancellation. This will result in a lost of the class credit as well as a cancellation fee.

    ***Please note that Special Workshops & Private Parties are different and must be canceled 72 hour before class start time with no penalty.

  • For South City: there are free parkings in the same plaza!

    For San Francisco: There is street parking nearby on Bush St. There is also a parking garage less than 500 feet away at Polk-Bush garage.

  • Film/Photography is allowed — You can always film or photograph yourself between classes and during Open Pole. When doing so at these times, make sure to respect the privacy of others and do not get them in any shots unless you ask them beforehand. Be sure to tag @songbirddancestudio on IG!

  • For the privacy and comfortability of others, we do not allow observers.

  • They are stainless steel, so totally safe, even if you have a nickel allergy.

  • No! Like anything, you’ll learn as you go! The instructors will provide you all the skills you need, all shapes, sizes and backgrounds are welcomed!

  • No! Our poles are of professional quality, and regularly maintained. There is no weight limit for our poles, and all discussions of weight are banned in our spaces.

  • Children are not allowed at the studio as the studio is 18 and over.

    Pets are not allowed in the studio. However, per state law, service animals (but not emotional support animals) are allowed to come into the studio and accompany their owner throughout the space.

  • Class credits and memberships are not transferable or shareable between students. Please refer to your package’s expiration date.
